The 3rd European High-Resolution Anoscopy Course which will be held in Amsterdam on 13th and 14th October 2016.
The background is the emerging increase of anal cancer in HIV+ individuals and the debate on screening for its precursors (AIN).
The gold standard for AIN detection is high-resolution anoscopy (HRA) and standard treatment consists of HRA-guided cautery.
The course is an introduction for physicians and nurse practitioners starting or already running a High-Resolution Anoscopy (HRA) service. It involves all aspects of anal neoplasia with the main focus on the principles of HRA, including live demonstrations.
