Health Evidence Network Synthesis Report (HEN Report)
WHO/Regional Office for Europe and a team of researchers are conducting a Health Evidence Network Synthesis Report (HEN Report) in which they aim to identify national policies, strategies and guidelines in the WHO European Region on TB, HIV and viral hepatitis services for migrant populations. As part of this work, they have carried out a review of the academic, policy, and grey literature in this area through a search of key databases and policy documents. However, WHO is aware that there may be ongoing work or approaches that are not captured in publicly available published documents and reports.
WHO is hoping to gain your relevant expertise in this area to complement their findings. They would be keen to know of any unpublished reports or grey literature you or your organisation have been involved with that describe existing policies or guidelines at regional or national levels, or examples of approaches or best practice within your work, relevant to:
- National legislation, policies, and guidelines for packages of services for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care of TB, HIV, and viral hepatitis among refugees and migrants across the WHO European Region.
- Case studies of TB, HIV, or viral hepatitis services targeted at refugee and migrant populations in the WHO European Region outlined in national legislation, policies, and guidelines.
- Evidence you may have on barriers or facilitators to implementing services targeted at refugees and migrants in the WHO European Region, or on the cost-effectiveness or national funding allocation for these services.
If you would like to share anything in your scope of work that touches on these areas (e.g. unpublished or internal reports, brief summaries your organisation has produced), it would be greatly appreciated if you could send the relevant document and highlight which sections you feel are relevant to euhen_at_who.int by 08 March 2021.
Please be assured that your contributions will be acknowledged and appropriately cited if it is included in the final report. WHO may also send a link to the final HEN report once it is publicly available on request.
