Standard of Care for HIV and Co-infections in Europe - Brussels 2016

The meeting is a one and a half day meeting with plenaries and workshops. It has a practical approach in order to give a large part to discussions with the scope to establish common indicators which could be used in the future to measure the progress made in three main topics:

  • Adherence to guidelines for treatment initiation and treatment monitoring and outcomes
  • Retention in care
  • Tuberculosis

It involves stakeholders such as ECDC, WHO, HIV in Europe, the community through EATG, and the European Commission in the elaboration of the meeting. In order to ensure interaction, the number of participants is limited to maximum a hundred and is on invitation only.

The 'EACS Standard of Care for HIV and Co-infections in Europe 2016' is designated for a maximum of (or 'for up to') 8 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
