WAVE workshop 2019 – 17th European AIDS Conference, Basel

The fourth workshop was chaired by Dr. Karoline Aebi-Popp and Dr. Justyna Kowalska. It took place prior to the 17th European AIDS Conference and focused on menopause, breastfeeding and PrEP for women.
The workshop consisted of presentations and discussions. The results of WAVE's survey on Women and PrEP were presented and two community representatives contributed with their personal stories to the debate on menopause and breastfeeding.
The main topics of this workshop were:
- Report on two last years of WAVE activity
- Menopause
- PrEP for women
- Breastfeeding
Registration was open to junior and senior healthcare professionals, members of the community and advocacy groups, industry employees, and others that might qualify based upon interest or expertise, regardless of gender and geographical location.
