The United Conference of Hepatogastroenterology and Infectious Diseases (UCHID2021) will take place from 30 September to 2 October 2021, (Hybrid / 3D meeting). UCHID is the greatest integrated scientific meeting that is held annually in Egypt and aims at bringing together all the stakeholders, clinicians, scientists and Endemic medicine associates from all around Egypt to discuss latest updates and advances in the field of hepatology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases and related disciplines.
This year, the conference activities are endorsed by the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS), the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) and the World Gastroenterology Organization (WGO) and the Southern African HIV Clinicians Society.

This year, the Symposium on HIV and Neuropsychiatry will be held virtually from Barcelona on  21, 22, and 23 September 2021.
This Symposium has a practical focus on the diagnosis and treatment of the psychiatric and neuropsychological aspects of HIV-infected patients.
The Symposium will discuss the topics that may be of special interest to HIV professionals: effects of drugs on CNS, management of neuropsychiatric symptoms and factors influencing neurocognitive impairment.

World Health Organization (WHO) has issued an open call for experts to serve as members of the new WHO Scientific Advisory Group for the Origins of Novel Pathogens (SAGO).
The SAGO will advise WHO on technical and scientific considerations regarding the origins of emerging and re-emerging pathogens of epidemic and pandemic potential, and will be composed of a wide range of experts acting in their personal capacity.

The University of Liverpool has launched a mobile app version of its COVID-19 Drug Interactions checker to aid the safe prescribing of experimental drugs being used against COVID-19.

The COVID-19 iChart app, freely available on iOS and Android devices, allows users to check for interactions straight from their smartphone or tablet and with added offline capability, allows for interactions to be searched when internet access is limited.
